History
So much of America’s history can be traced back to the Allegheny Partners region. Did you know that the world’s oil industry began here in 1859? Vaseline and stainless steel were invented here too! Come learn more about this region’s rich Native American, oil, lumber, and railroad heritage when you visit one of our many museums, historic sites, and landmarks. Take the opportunity to learn about the rich heritage of the area as a major contributor to the arts.
